Dr Anthony Ugbede-Ojoh Ukwenya is a fully licensed and practicing medical doctor with a 4 year + experience.
He is also an avid artificial intelligence enthusiast, and passionate about leveraging digital tools in the field of medicine to enhance biomedical research and clinical practice.
His interest in IT stems from the dire observation that healthcare in a lot of third world countries is plagued by inequality, inaccessibility, poor service delivery, low coverage and rising costs. Hence, he believes that emerging digital health technologies will have a significant role to play in addressing these critical issues and advancing universal health coverage.
He enjoys volunteering medical and charitable services at orphanages. He also enjoys watching anime, playing chess, creative writing and coding during his spare time.
